TYPOGRAPHY

LAYOUT TYPOGRAPHY

The primary fonts for layouts are Proxima Nova Regular and Bold. Other fonts may be added if this is necessary for typography reasons (e.g. in magazines and folders to visually separate subheadings, introductory texts and page details). Full justification is only used professionally in exceptional cases.

The font Proxima Nova is primarily used for brochures, the website, merchandising products and other official purposes. It is on the Adobe Creative Cloud and can therefore only be used by the respective departments.

It is characterised by modern, geometric proportions, but at the same time, it has also been optimised for on-screen and in-print readability. Unobtrusive, businesslike yet friendly, it emphasises our brand values and our brand slogan at an international design level.

For regular business correspondence, Excel tables and all written internal communications, the system font Arial is used as a so-called fallback font. This makes it possible for the entire workforce to create documents and so on without having to install a font that has to be paid for. See also: "Day-to-day business typography"
